Kinexx’s Harrison Row Townhome Project Featured in R.E. Journals

Kinexx’s Harrison Row Townhomes were featured in R.E. Journals today. With commentary from our friend and client, J. Michael Drew of Structured Development and our own Josh Braun (CEO, Kinexx) the article highlighted the benefits of modular construction as a viable tool to create work-force home ownership opportunities.

“Teachers, police officers, firefighters, healthcare professionals, factory workers – they form the backbone of our city, yet they typically struggle to find affordable workforce housing. Ironically, their income levels disqualify them for low-income housing options yet they don’t earn enough to afford market-rate homes, especially those that are newly constructed and large enough to accommodate a family,” said Mike Drew, founding principal of Structured Development. “Harrison Row will give more people the opportunity to achieve the dream of homeownership, putting down roots in the community and building equity from the day they close.”

Kinexx Modular Construction is honored to be a part of the affordable housing solution for the City of Chicago and to be working alongside our great clients and spirited City Departments to make meaningful change a reality.
